The department of Computer Science was established from the inspection of the college in 2010 with student’s strength of 38 and one faculty and today the department has strength of the 304 students and 7 faculty. The Department aims to bring innovation in technology to go beyond fundamentals with a view to building interest in students for specialized research, guide students in the development of new technology and to instil interest in hardware. The department sowed with UG programme of B.Sc (CS), additional section of B.Sc (CS) was initiated in 2016-17 and the Post graduation programme was introduced in the year 2017-18 to cater the needs of the rural students. Excellent infrastructure facilities with state of the art WI-FI connected laboratory are provided to all the students. We are proud to produce 142 UG graduates. Part time research programme are also available in our department. The students are enlightened by actively participating in the association technical events, certificate course on hardware maintenance and quality education and training that are successfully done by the collective and responsive effort of the faculty, students and supporting staff. The faculties updates themselves by attending various faculty development programs in latest trend, publishing research articles and presenting papers in the national and international conferences. Some of the thrust areas of research are Digital Image Processing, Data Mining, IoT, Artificial Intelligence, WSN and Wireless Networks.
